Math-

Lessons covered:

3.3 Standard Linear Measures

3.4 Perimeter

3.5 A Pattern-Block Toss Experiment

3.6 Exploring Perimeter and Area

Language Arts-

We will read selections from the Voices reading series this week.

The vocabulary will come from our science unit about Simple Machines this week.

The vocabulary test will be this Tuesday (10/18).

The spelling this week will be "doubling rule."

There will be a spelling test on Friday (10/21).

Science-

We will conclude our study of simple machines and begin studying forces and motion.

Social Studies-

This week we will continue our study of the native tribes of Florida (Calusa).

There will be a short quiz on the Calusa tribe on Thursday (10/20). Students will be able to use the passage that we have been studying in class.
