Math-

Lessons covered:

1.10 Money

1.11 Solving Problems with Dollars and Cents

1.12 Patterns

1.13 The Length-of-Day Project

The Unit One math test will be Tuesday (9/13). We will have a review session on Monday (9/12).

Language Arts-

We will read selections from the Voices reading series this week.

The vocabulary will come from Wordly Wise this week.

The vocabulary test will be next Friday (9/16).

The spelling this week will be "vowel-consonant-e."

There will be a spelling test on Friday (9/9).

Science-

We will practice writing hypotheses and perform the "Ball Drop Experiment."

Social Studies-

Continuing with our unit on Florida, this week we will continue working with the Hello, Florida book.

The Daily Geography theme this week is "Parts of a map"
