Week of 9/8-9/11

Math- We will cover Lessons 1.10-1.13 this week. The math test will be next Tuesday (9/15).

Language Arts- We will begin our second reading mini-topic. Each mini-topic will take about 2 weeks to complete. Our grammar focus will be quotation marks. The spelling theme is "silent -e". Check out a great youtube video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TKDcHEcE8Q

Science- On Tuesday, we will visit the Science Resource Center. Our science lessons this week will center around writing hypotheses.

Social Studies- We will continue our focus on Florida. Students will continue to work with the Hello, Florida textbook. Spelling Test and Vocabulary Test on Friday (9/11). As always, if you have any questions, please email me... Have a great week!
